When I decided to go King on King, and sent my own leader flying down the valley, striking a glancing blow on Stanley's king before veering off over a nearby cliff, Stanley laughed so much he had a little accident.

This morning I got woken at 6.12 by two boys standing next to the bed asking me to get Cube Quest down. "It's too early for Cube Quest" I croaked, and when I came down ten minutes later they were playing Raj. Stan won 37-3.GNN Reportshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17982778341361220607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317166417552799764.post-38640383492612318912015-06-29T08:45:37.724+01:002015-06-29T08:45:37.724+01:00W1815 is really interesting too. Not that you need to in order to play, but to contextualise your actions maybe . . .

Aton is as brilliant as ever, but as those who've played it know, you've got to get up to speed on strategy to compete - your first few games are a bit one-sided. That said, Andrew made an early stab at the temple one insta-win, which threw me off my game somewhat.Joe Bergerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01710555098761136919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317166417552799764.post-8492506709900946392015-06-28T22:47:42.428+01:002015-06-28T22:47:42.428+01:00Ooh very jealous!Ooh very jealous!Martin Griffithshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01723082374288224645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317166417552799764.post-25878511596611943312015-06-28T13:46:33.676+01:002015-06-28T13:46:33.676+01:00Joe showed me the Sekigahara board and pieces - lo...Joe showed me the Sekigahara board and pieces - looks lovely. Certainly feel like we could play again straight out of the box, and concentrate on strategy rather than wrapping my head round lots of little rules.

The interesting thing is that the game encourages card play - cards you play in battle get instantly replenished, and have to discard half your cards at the end of a turn, so you have to be opportunistic if your current hand suggests a possible win - you won't have the same cards next turn.Joe Bergerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01710555098761136919noreply@blogger.com
