I am the best of players, I am the worst of players

Continuing my occasional series of exciting new methods of scoring, I decided to use the Olympic table method, in honour of it just being under a year or so til the Olympic Games in London. God bless the King! Huzzah!

It’s a pity the win for Adam is so emphatic, but I was surprised by my performance: I’ve not placed above third all season!

The Olympic leaderboard...
GoldSilverBronze
Adam921
Sam531
Joe161
Steve103
Hannah101
Quentin031
Jonny022
Paul010
Andrew008

Strictly speaking, I’m not last last, since neither Matilda nor Chris have placed high enough to bother the podium with the soles of their shoes, but even so, it’s pretty sobering reading for me.

Happier news comes in the shape of the weighted leaderboard, which I’ve been keeping up to date, and I’m proud to say I now lead it. This means that, considering how badly I did last season, I’m really out-performing myself this time!

The weighted leaderboard...
PlayedPointsRatio
Andrew9364
Adam8354.38
Sam7334.71
Joe826.53.31
Jonny4194.75
Quentin3124
Steve3103.33
Hannah28.54.25
Paul26.53.25

  2. I like the Olympic table! Maybe we could adopt it for Septcon. :)

  3. I'm curious as to why we have played less games in the weighted board than we have in the standard board?

  4. I can't work out how to do a weighted score for games where you have to score least to win.
